2020 Pouilly Fuissé, Climats, Domaine Normand

2020 vintage, Big BOLD Burgundy, starts off rather elegant on the nose with some delicate white flowers but then it hits you with a powerful left hook. Very bold and generous mouthfeel hitting every corner on the palate. Good PF minerality along southern chardo creaminess, some vanilla and wax and refreshing sunny orange citrus to tie it all together. Normand does like to stirr the lees around but also knows how to retain freshness. Mix of climats from sunny Solutré and freshness from a Chaintré plot. Age of vines 40 yrs. Highly recommended.
