2020 Saint-Amour, À la Folie, Domaine Chardigny

Kleine uiterzondering op de regel van Burgundy or NOWHERE 😅. Deze meest noordelijk gelegen Cru uit de Beaujolais heeft wel een Bourgondisch karakter, d.w.z. elegant, verfijnd, gelaagd.

QTN Quick taste notes 2-2021:

2020, Smooth newer style Bojo, medium full body, juicy red fruit (cherries) driven st. amour with 13,5% abv. Mineral fresh finish after a warm mild pepper spice, cherry bomb sensation. Nice balance. Not the most outspoken Bojo experience for now but a good wine nonetheless with lots of development in reserve. Their Clos de Chapitre cuvee is more of a classical St. Amour expérience if you're looking for that.
