However, the remaining Pinot Noir vines were carefully preserved and continue to produce the fruit that has been used for generations to create the finest red Chassagne-Montrachets. This is a testament to the enduring quality of these vines and the winemakers' dedication to recognizing their value. While the landscape may have changed, the commitment to crafting exceptional wines remains unchanged.

The color is intense red with purple reflections. The nose presents both spicy and fruity notes of raspberries and strawberries, alongside violets. The palate showcases a beautiful lightly earthy structure with a delicate and elegant finish, and a bit of spice in the finale. The old vines of this Chassagne-Montrachet (50 years old) already provide a wonderful structure and elegance, with a aging potential of 8 to 10 years. This is a wine that you can enjoy now or store in the cellar for a few more years. At 13% alcohol, it is just right for this fruity wine.
