2019, great refinement. Rather fresh and subtle on the nose. The spicy sweetness and raciness from a year ago has transformed into fresh lingering red cherries and raspberries along leathery licorice paired with amazingly friendly warm Mercurey spice and refreshing acidity. Some stawberries, cherries vanilla yogurt on the palate. Great balance and apparent potentional to age. Not overly polished, with a slight chewy texture i.m.o. building a bridge between Givry and Mercurey. Givry's fruit intensity and Mercureys chewy fine tannins and warmth. Mouth feel is really nice. 25-30% new oak for 10 months.
